By Bus:

MTR Tung Chung Station. Take bus 11 to Tai O bus terminus (the journey takes approximately 50 minutes). Walk for around five minutes to the Rope-drawn Ferry Bridge and then take a stroll along the waterfront.

By ship:

Tuen Mun Pier

Tung Chung Pier

Sha Lo Wan Pier

*From Hong Kong Island it takes about 1hour 30 minutes to arrive at Tai O

Tips:

People had to queue up for bus on public holiday that may take an hour for queuing.

We suggest you to take 'fast ferry' in Tung Chung Pier and it just take you aroung 40 mintus to get to Tai O.
