Another main event is the banquet holding in the Chinese restaurant. It is different with the Cantonese opera which is open to the public, the banquet is only open to the people in the same Tong Hau, which is same as a community association. This kind of community association is a societies with members who have the common origin or share similar interests and aims. Tong Hau brings the strong linkages for the Tai O residents. People in the Tong Hau need to pay the membership fee per year in order to continue their membership in the association.

The banquet for celebrating the birthday of To Tei is the big event in Tong Kau. Each Tang Kau will hold a banquet in different places. The people in the same Tong Kau will be invited to the banquet. The members can buy a table with 12 seats in the banquet. The member who buy one table can invite 12 people to join this banquet. The more tables you buy, the more people you can invite. It is also the time to show your status among the members through buying the tables. Usually, the highly respected member in the Tong Kau will buy most of the tables. Traditional Celebration is also the community linkage for the Tai O residents.
